With the series 'Paper Mountains' I constructed the images, building on existing photographs taken on various journeys, into a series of fabricated landscapes with the folds, shadows and texture of the paper taking us further away from the original scene.
Meticulously re-worked then re-photographed numerous times, the mountains slowly discard their original epic grandiose, taking the landscapes back to a more contained and controlled setting.
